”This is a translation of an article I wrote in 2016 for the largest newspaper in Sweden, Dagens Nyheter. Even though it was the most read debate article that year, I was never expecting it to drawn international attention. However some time after I wrote it, Greg Ashman wrote a blog post about it based on attempts to translate it with Google translate and some Swedish contacts. I also had to explain the key points of the text to international journalists that contacted me. I considered a translation but after a while I did not see any point, the debate seemed to be over. However lately Professor Paul Kirschner have picked up the article on his blog. I am humbled and surprised. Since professor Kirschners blog post have created some interest in the article I decided to, almost 7 years after it was written, translate it (with support from GPT4) to English … ”
